Junior Laravel Developer

About a year ago, we started a small, independent team inside ILIAS Solutions.
 
No big legacy. No heavy structure.
Just a few people, a lot of ideas, and the freedom to build things the right way.
 
That team is still small. Still young. And that’s exactly why this role matters.

The Kind of Person We’re Looking For
 
You don’t need 5+ years of corporate experience.
But you do need to have spent a lot of time actually building things.
 
We’re looking for someone who:
 

• Has built projects outside of school or work (and can show them)
• Has some real-world experience (internship, freelance, first job…)
• Gets energy from turning ideas into working software
• Cares about doing things well, not just making them work

What You’ll Be Doing
 
You’ll be working on real products, used by real users, at real scale.
 

• Building applications in Laravel (Filament = big plus)
• Thinking about performance from day one (fast queries, clean APIs, scalable structures)
• Contributing to how we design and structure systems
• Improving UX, not as a designer, but as someone who cares how things feel
• Working closely with a small team where decisions happen quickly

 
This is not a ticket-factory role.
You’ll have space to think, suggest, and shape.

What Helps You Stand Out
 

• You’ve built multiple projects (side projects > school projects)
• You’re comfortable with:
  • Laravel & PHP
  • APIs and databases
• You’ve experimented with:
  • React (nice to have)
  • Docker 
• You think about:
  • Performance
  • Clean structure
  • User experience

 
And most importantly: You like figuring things out, even when it’s messy.
