Opportunity
The Senior Controller supports the financial and operational processes by delivering transparency, analysis, and insights to drive performance and informed decision-making. You act as a sparring partner for both management and business stakeholders, both locally and in interaction with our group company.
Your mission
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting processes.
- Analyze financial and operational performance (e.g. sales, margins, production efficiency, utilization, overheads).
- Interact with the accounting department during monthly closing procedures and financial audits.
- Track KPI’s across departments and provide actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with business units to improve cost structures, process efficiency, and resource allocation.
- Support strategic planning and investment decisions with data-driven analysis.
- Maintain and enhance controlling tools, dashboards, and reporting standards.
- Ensure financial and operational data integrity and consistency.
- Act as a sparring partner to department heads on both financial and business topics.
- Get involved in ad hoc requests related to financial and business topics.
Your capabilities
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
- Fluent in Dutch & English.
- 3 to 7+ years of experience in controlling or financial analysis.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into business insights.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP and BI tools is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence non-financial stakeholders.
- High level of ownership, structure, and attention to detail.
- Business acumen and a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
