Opportunity
The ICT Manager for System Administration and Customer Support serves as the senior principal specialist responsible for planning, designing, implementing, and managing technical tasks supporting IFED operations, infrastructure, associated personnel, and reports to the IFED CEO for all matters related to ICT and US-based ICT projects. Additionally, the IFED ICT Manager is also responsible for executing internal and external ICT projects under guidance of the IFED CEO, Business Information Security Officer (BISO) and Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO). This may include IFED ICT security admin and customer support efforts and where needed, software implementations for IFED US-Only customers.
Your mission
The ICT Manager has the following core duties:
  • Serve as the senior pricipal Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Management Specialist with a focus on cloud System Administration (SYS ADMIN) and Customer Support (CUST SPPT) for IFED.
  • Work with various teams (client management, project management, and information security) to build, maintain, and support secure cloud computing environments in accordance with the DOD Cloud Computing Security Requirements Guide (SRG) and/or the FedRAMP Moderate baseline standards using a high watermark method. 
  • Assess the compatibility and integration of products and services proposed as standards to build, integrate, and sustain interdependent technologies. 
  • Configure and maintain scalable Infrastructure as a Service (laaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) systems. 
  • Responsible for the analysis, development, modification, installation, testing, and maintenance of systems software, cloud computing environments, and services. 
  • Plan and design for solutions within cloud environments e.g., Microsoft Azure. 
  • Manage improvements and automation to enhance the durability, performance, security, and maintainability of the platform.
Your capabilities
  • Proven experience as an ICT Manager, IT Director, or in a similar leadership role within IT.

  • Strong understanding of ICT infrastructure, including networks, hardware, software, and cloud technologies.

  • Experience with IT project management, budget oversight, and vendor management.

  • In-depth knowledge of IT security, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity management.

  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
